Julia surprised me with a weekend getaway to Paris for my birthday. So far, it has been a weekend of many firsts. I had never been to Paris before and we started off on the Eurostar Saturday morning. Three hours later, we were in Paris. It is so charming here and the food is amazing. We have had a wonderful time so far, but I am afraid we are heading back to London later tonight.
I think I ate foie gras at almost every meal. The food was delicious everywhere we went. Looking forward to going back to Paris again sometime soon.
